September 21, 2021 UPDATE.

My sincere apologies but it has been brought to my attention that some of the kanji in the footnotes is not printing correctly. Therefore I am temporarily removing “An Introduction to Karate-do” until it is correct.

Thank you for your patience.

Good morning. I wanted to let everyone know that Mabuni and Nakasone’s An Introduction to Karate-do is now available for purchase using the link below. As I said in the book’s acknowledgements, this book would not have been possible without the support of Joe Swift (Tokyo Mushinkan), Mark Tankosich, Fred Lohse (Boston Kodokan), James Hatch, Quint Baldwin, Lyn Jehu, and of course my wife. I am also grateful to my teachers and mentors for awakening my passion for Okinawa Karate-do and Kobudo. This is a work in progress and there are undoubtedly errors in it. So, I look forward to the reader’s corrections, notes, and advice on how to improve it.
