The Ryukyu Kobudo Shinkokai offers training seminars in traditional Okinawa weaponry for all skill ranges. The seminars are intended to provide an overview of the weapon being taught including fundamental techniques, kata, and paired sets.

Grading opportunities and certification are available at seminars for those students who have completed the necessary requirements for each grade. Kyu certificates are issued by McKenna sensei under the authority of Yoshimura sensei. All dan certificates are issued by Yoshimura sensei.
